Welcome to the Dental Assisting Clinic
The A-B Tech Dental Assisting Clinic is an educational facility that provides limited dental services as part of the Dental Assisting Program. The clinic is not intended to serve as a patient’s primary dental provider and does not replace the need for regular care from a licensed dentist.
The clinic operates during the Spring Semester only (January–May). Due to the educational nature of the clinic and the limited duration of the semester, completion of treatment is not guaranteed. Some procedures may require multiple appointments and may extend beyond the clinic’s operating period.
Patients are responsible for maintaining a relationship with a primary dental provider for routine, comprehensive, and emergency dental care and for arranging any necessary continuation of care if treatment cannot be completed during the clinic’s operating period.
Patient privacy and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and A-B Tech policies. Patients receive and acknowledge the appropriate privacy information as part of the clinic onboarding process.
Due to the clinic’s limited academic schedule and hours of operation, the A-B Tech Dental Assisting Clinic does not provide emergency or after-hours dental care. Patients experiencing a dental emergency should contact their primary dental provider or another appropriate licensed dental healthcare provider.
