Payments:

Credit card payment is required when registering for Continuing Education classes online. You may use MasterCard, VISA, or American Express. If you prefer to use cash or a check, you may register by mail or in person. View CE Registration Office: Location, Hours, & Payment Options.

Refunds:

  • If a student officially withdraws prior to the first class meeting, the student will receive a 100% refund; Motorcycle Safety is excluded.
  • If a class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, a student will receive a 100% refund.
  • A 75% refund will be issued (Self-Supporting classes with prefixes CSP and SEF are excluded) if the student officially withdraws prior to or on the 10% point of the scheduled hours of the class.
  • No refund will be made after the 10% point of the class.
  • The insurance, technology, and supply/lab fees are refundable only if a class is canceled or the student drops before the class begins.
  • Refunds are processed on the 1st and 15th of each month.

This training gives students new to Relays, Motor Contactors, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) an interactive, safe, hands-on approach to learn and apply these electrical controls. In this training students are encouraged to have a notebook, a pencil, and two different highlighters. It is recommended to take Fundamentals of Industrial Electricity before taking this training if you are new to electricity.

This training gives students an introduction to Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) in an interactive, safe, hands-on approach. Basic programming with an emphasis on troubleshooting with a meter will be given. This will be using Allen Bradley SLC 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal. Students of all abilities are welcome to join the Woodworking Basics Shop Class. New students will be introduced to the safe use and proper handling of a wide variety of hand and power tools. They will be taught at first as a group, completing a small project. After that, each student is free to pick a reasonable project with the instructor’s approval, to complete under supervision. Students will be responsible for any required safety procedures and equipment. Students are also required to purchase all project supplies.
