Registration is now open for the NTOA Less Lethal, FSDD & Chemical Agent Instructor Course, scheduled for October 5-9, 2026, at A-B Tech Woodfin.
This five-day course covers instructor development, deployment tactics, legal considerations, and practical application of less-lethal impact munitions, flash-and-sound diversionary devices (FSDD), and chemical agents.

All basic and recertification testing will occur at A-B Tech Woodfin the same week as training.
A copy of the operator’s current, valid operator certificate must accompany registration forms for recertification classes.
A current, valid Radar operator certificate must accompany any registration forms for Lidar Operator school.

This introductory course is designed to educate drone operators and narcotics investigators in the implementation of small Unmanned Aircraft Systems for surveillance in drug-related investigations. This two-day course includes sUAS flights for mock drug investigations.
No Part 107 Certification required.
